BPH
Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) is a nonmalignant enlargement of the prostate gland that leads to troublesome lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) in some men. It’s the most common benign tumor in men and is not a precancerous condition. However, this overgrown tissue can press on the urethra near the bladder and interfere with urination. Urinary retention, infection and other complications may follow if an obstruction is not corrected.
