To start, 6 to 8 hours of sleep is needed. Plus, avoid high sugar and refined flour, and eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. Take Glutaloe G.I. or Repairvite for the deglycyrrhinated licorice root. Omega 3’s found in our Omega Platinum 1300 or Arctic Omega 900 will be very important for adrenal health as well as the following nutrients: Active B-Complex (Active B), Vitamin C (BioFlav-C and/or Xcellent C); Magnesium (Opti-mag or MAGnificent); The following herbs that are important: Ashwagandha and other herbs found in Adaptocrine and Adrenal Essence; and Adrenamend, which has a great combination of glandulars, minerals, and nutrients that are important for adrenal health or low cortisol. Common symptoms of low cortisol are low blood pressure, sensitivity to light and hypoglycemia.
In order to get a more accurate result, a 4-point cortisol test would be required to determine at what points of the day you are dealing with low and/or high cortisol. You can have both high and low cortisol during the day.
